CO2 control

ico co2The measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the obligations under the European Directive on the welfare of broilers to rearing density of weight greater than 33 kg / sqm.

We have developed a series of products to display and control the concentration of carbon dioxide that you use to measure an accurate reading with an infrared CO2 sensor.

 ico euro bookDIRECTIVE 2007/43/EC OF THE COUNCIL of 28 June 2007 laying down minimum standards for the protection of chickens kept for meat production.

   The best possible solution is the use of the processors Qfarm or Xfarm for the complete farm management, which are able to:

1) Display the concentration of carbon dioxide
2) Automatically take action on the parameters of ventilation to avoid exceeding the preset values
3) Issue a warning if the concentration exceeds a predetermined threshold
4) Store the values of CO2 daily minimum, average and maximum for all days of the cycle and of course all the other quantities such as temperature, humidity etc etc

By USB port Qfarm and Xfarm modules can export all cycle daily datas.
These can then be displayed as a table or graph on a personal computer through the program Qfarm Dialogue / Xfarm Dialogue.

In this short tutorial is explained step by step the sequence of operations from perform.

If you already have an existing ventilation system and you just want to view and track the concentration of carbon dioxide as a directive in force is available from the processor HP75 CO2 Surveyor who is able to:

1) Display the concentration of carbon dioxide
2) Set a set of CO2 above which activates an alarm contact output
3) Record the daily average and maximum up to 99 days (and hours of the last 60 hours), after which it automatically deletes the oldest record and insert the new one. Unlike processors Qfarm and Xfarm is not possbile to export any form of recorded data that will be available only directly on the module HP75 CO2 Surveyor

In the HP line is available the processor HP76 Humidity Surveyor (electronic probe) that is able to:

1) Display the humidity level
2) Set a set of humidity above which activates an alarm contact output
3) Record the daily average and maximum up to 99 days (and hours of the last 60 hours), after which it automatically deletes the oldest record and insert the new one.  In the HP line is available the processor HP77 Humidity Surveyor (psycrometer probe) that is able to:

1) Display the humidity level
2) Set a set of humidity above which activates an alarm contact output
3) Record the daily average and maximum up to 99 days (and hours of the last 60 hours), after which it automatically deletes the oldest record and insert the new one. Xlog
, data-logger with eight channels

xlog frontale th

Xlog records the following data:

1= Environment temperature*
2= Environment humidity*
3= Environment CO2*
4= Environment NH3*
5= Outdoor temperature*
6= Environment static pressure
7= Auxiliary 1 temperature
8= Auxiliary 2 temperature

The above data are recorded daily for the entire duration of cycle (512 days max).
Data are sampled with 15 min frequency and stored in the system memory.
